Bright Beginnings Tithing Trustfund Procedure
3rd
Nov
2016
Rationale: Bright Beginnings is committed to supporting the families who attend the centre, and the wider community (national and international). Bright Beginnings recognises that in some instances help may be needed financially.
Objectives: That the work of the centre will benefit not only the families and children of Bright Beginnings Childcare Centre, but the wider community of Papamoa and the Bay of Plenty and, ultimately, the world.
Policy and recommended procedure:
- Bright Beginnings is committed to upholding relationships with those who are ‘worse off’ and will financially support aid organisations, in order to promote Christian values and philosophies to the children and families within the community.
- Where Bright Beginnings staff, Trust members, or members of the Papamoa Baptist Church identify organisations or individuals that may need financial support, those people may bring forward their suggestions in writing.
- Suggestions will be presented to the Bright Beginnings Trust for discussion and prayer. All correspondence will be documented in the meeting minutes, and will be available for viewing.
- A consensus must be reached from the Trust in order to approve any financial backing of organisations or individuals.
- For support needed by families of Bright Beginnings, refer to the Procedure for Hardship Cases.
