Objective: To ensure the well-being and health of staff, children, parents and whānau while on the premises of Bright Beginnings (including outings).
Policy and recommended procedure:
- Drugs and alcohol are not permitted on the church or centre property
- Drugs and alcohol are not permitted at any time when staff are responsible for the supervision of children. Drugs and alcohol will not be used or taken by staff, parents, and caregivers at any time during centre outings with children
- Visitors, parents/caregivers, trades people, students and staff are expected to comply with these requirements
- Bright Beginnings’ staff must adhere to this policy at all times. Any concerns about compliance, or enquiries about the policy, should be forwarded to the manager.
